when it rains, it pours.

Having read alot about the Nguyen drug trafficking case, I realized that coming to the US has softened my stance on execution for drug trafficking. In fact, I'm kind of against it now. I can understand the capital punishment for murder, but for drug trafficking? My roommate's a pothead, but he's a really nice guy who wouldn't harm a fly. And we were just joking about me bringing back 15grams of his pot and getting hanged for it. When you enter the world of sin you realize hey, it isn't that bad until you take it to the extreme. I have so many friends now that do drugs or smoke or drink alot, but they're perfectly nice and normal people. They still carry on with their lives, do their homework and study. I'm heading home in 2 days, and I know I will feel differently about many things back home. What wonders 5 months abroad does for me. At least I know I'll appreciate the bus service and the MRT!

Okay, I'm finally twenty one, with no where to go but downhill. It was a wonderful birthday and I went out for lunch, ice skating, dinner and then hit a pub. Thank you to all the wonderful people who called or msg'ed or sent me stuff, you guys know who you are =) Love ya'll.
For thanksgiving I flew over to Atlanta to go skiing with joe and angela! now that... was tonnes of fun. Mark was there as well, and he's really funny! everytime i talk to him, i feel like my IQ drops by a hundred. But he's actually really smart. so... No pictures of me skiing unfortunately. But i'll get some.. someday!
