so finally pictures can be uploaded. I'm too lazy to do a collage so they'll just come one by one. It was really an awesome trip. Expensive, but what an experience... I wish I didn't have to come back.
The first day I arrived it snowed. The first time so much snow has been seen this semester apparently. It was awesome. It was snowing when I took this picture, but you can't really see it in this one.
My first three days were spent up on Whistler. I have some pictures of the ski slopes, but mostly my camera was out of battery cause of the cold. It was really irritating especially when I was on the mountain peak. Skiing down peak to creek. (it's a crazy run.) Notice how in this picture where the US flag is, and where the Canadian flag is. The US flag is on the bottom left. right at the bottom. Sums up what Canadians think of Americans.
Here, I was on my way to Victoria Island on a big ferry. It was beautiful. My hands are so cold they've turned whitish blue. haha.
On the second day in Victoria. We decided to cycle and look around. We cycled all the way along the scenic beach route and stopped here just to take photos.
We stopped in University of Victoria for our homemade tortilla lunch. It was one of the best lunches i've ever had. no kidding. There was this rabbit bugging us too. really cute, but not when you're eating.
I wish I could freeze time like in the pictures. I was just 18 and in JC and having lots of fun a while ago. Now i'm 21 and in University. What used to be old creepy NS guys are now seeming younger and younger to me. aRgh.
